Setup

Two ways to configure your server:

Everything is configured on the web dashboard. Sign in with Discord, pick your server and turn on the modules you want.

Dashboard → Select your server
A freshly added server starts completely unconfigured, every module is off until you enable it on the dashboard.

Roles & Permissions

Kexu keeps permissions simple and tied to Discord's own roles & permissions.

  • Admins: Discord Administrator or a configured admin role → everything.
  • Staff role, timeout, warn and handle tickets.
  • Up / downrank, anyone with Discord Manage Roles (or admin). You can't rank yourself, and you can only assign roles below your own highest role.
  • Optional: grant single actions (ban, kick, purge, giveaways…) to any role.

Security Setup

Anti-Nuke

Insider protection against mass ban/kick, if one person bans or kicks more members than allowed inside the time window, they are treated as a raider.

  • All their roles are removed (except an optional member role)
  • They are timed out and locked out of every channel
  • A bright-red alert with buttons is posted: Ban raider · Re-invite victims · False alarm (restore)

Bans done through the bot's own /ban don't count, only direct mass actions by a person or a foreign bot trigger it.

Honeypot

A trap channel. Make a channel everyone can see with a “do not post here” notice, any non-staff member who posts there is instantly punished. Catches raid bots that spam every channel.

Action can be Ban, Kick or 24h Timeout. Staff and admins are never affected.

Anti-Bot & Spam

Anti-bot: new bots are auto-kicked and posted to the security log with Approve / Block buttons, an admin approves the ones to keep.

Anti-spam: members who send too many messages too fast get an automatic timeout. Account-age gate: optionally reject accounts newer than X days.

Verification

Gate your server behind verification. Two types:

  • Discord, a simple Verify button gives the verified role.
  • Roblox, members link their real Roblox account (see Roblox Verify).

Accounts newer than the set age can't self-verify (default 3 days, 0 = off); a mod can still give the role by hand. Lock only hides channels @everyone could already see, staff channels stay private.
Moderation

Moderation

Standard moderation with clean records. Member-facing actions post a small grey line in the channel; the full card goes to the mod log.

Tickets

Create the panel with /start-support (Support / Bewerbungen buttons + a main category). It opens an editor where you set each button's name, its own category, and who can see it (roles & people), or add a custom button. Inside a ticket use /ticket to add / remove a user, transfer or close.

Default visibility: Support → staff team, Bewerbungen → admins (both overridable). Flow: open → private channel → Claim / Transfer / Close. On close: a rating DM (once per ticket) and a full .txt transcript to your transcripts channel.

Cases: /open-case user:@member opens a private case ticket about a member, the runner auto-claims it, and only they and the server owner can close it.

Roblox

Roblox Verify

Members link their real Roblox account with official “Sign in with Roblox” (OAuth), no codes.

Look up a linked member (staff): username, ID, account age, in-game time, avatar.

In-Game Bridge

Connect Kexu to your Roblox game for two-way moderation.

Paste the DiscordBridge script into ServerScriptService (enable HTTP Requests). Then:

  • Discord → game: /roblox ban/kick/warn player: applies in-game.
  • Game → Discord: in-game bans/warns appear in your log channel.
Features

Leveling

Members earn XP from messages and voice. Level-ups can go to a channel, DM, or off.

Temp Voice

Join-to-create voice channels. Joining the generator makes a personal channel with an owner panel.

Owner panel: Rename · User limit · Kick · Ban · Unban · Add mod · Transfer. Empty channels auto-delete.

Counting

A counting minigame, members count 1 → ∞ in a channel.

Dashboard → Games → Counting

Wrong number or counting twice in a row resets it. math lets 1+1 count as 2.

Giveaways

Run giveaways with a required-message gate and rerolls.

Invites

Everyone can create a personal invite link for the server, created once, it stays the same forever on that server (each server gets its own).

Admins can see how many people a user has brought in:

The bot needs Create Invite to make links and Manage Server to count uses.

Lookups

Look up profiles and stats across many platforms, most return a clean image card with a link button.

Games & profiles: Steam (status, playtime, most-played), Spotify (now playing & top tracks), YouTube, Twitch (live status), GitHub, chess (Chess.com / Lichess) and Minecraft:

v! Prefix

Every slash command also works as a text command with the v! prefix, including named options, just like the slash version.

A custom server prefix replaces v! on that server (per-server, never global). You can also set a personal prefix just for yourself:

Languages

Kexu speaks 11 languages: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Polski, Русский, Italiano, Português, Nederlands, Türkçe, Українська.

Affects moderation notices, Roblox logs, counting messages, and the full rule texts in /rules and /team rules.

Logging

Everything is logged with “who did it” + avatars. Set a channel per type:
